By accessing 1st Class Weddings website, you, the user, agree to use the terms and conditions set out here. These terms and conditions may change at our discretion at any time and without prior notice. All orders and purchases made through this site are governed by these terms and conditions.

All prices on this website are subject to confirmation. You agree to pay all charges payable to your order. We will endeavour to use efficient resources to deliver items as quickly as soon as possible. However, we are not responsible for delivery delays beyond our control. We will endeavour to notify all customers if delivery is delayed however, this sometimes is beyond our control and subsequently, we may not be aware of it.

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our secure online store, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Check Out" and you will be asked for a few details via PayPal that we need to be able to satisfy the order. For orders outside of the UK please contact us for correct carriage fees.
We accept Visa, Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Eurocard, Switch, Maestro, Solo and cheques as payment for orders. You may send your cheques with a covering letter detailing the order and your contact details. If you have any questions or queries please contact us via phone or email.

Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our local computer.
Ordering with us is extremely secure and if you have any concerns about security please contact us directly.

Returns Policy

Once you have placed an order you will contacted via e-mail by Ian Gorringe (Sole Proprietor) of 1st Class Wedding Services with details of your order and a purchase order number. Please quote this purchase order number when you contact us. To check if the item you are ordering is returnable please call our office on 01656 744616 before you place an order.
Credit may be issued on non-custom items cancelled or returned within 7 days of receipt without any damage. Customers must pay for all shipping/insurance charges. No Returns or cancellations will be allowed on custom made Favour/ Banners or Wedding Stationery items. A return authorization number needs to be granted before sending any return. Please e-mail Ian Gorringe (Sole Proprietor) at sales@1stclassweddings.co.uk to obtain an authorization email.
When the goods are delivered, please check carefully on arrival that the goods and packaging are in good condition. Please sign the documentation 'received in good condition'.

Non Internet Bookings:
Customers who place orders/bookings for chair covers, balloon decoration and all other services will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of approximately a third of the order total. The reason for this is that on the strength of your order we will turn down any other potential bookings for that date therefore losing custom. Cancellation of orders 2 months before the function date must be paid for in full by the customer.

Method of payment of the agreed fee for chair covers, balloons and other local service products must be paid in full to 1st Class Wedding Services three weeks before the wedding. If it is less than three weeks then the client must make full cash payment. The title of the goods covered by an invoice is not legally transferred until complete payment has been made by the Client to 1st Class Wedding Services and if they are re-sold before they have been paid for then 1st Class Wedding Services, have the right to the proceeds of the sale. Overdue accounts are subject to interest of 3% per month above the bank base rate. The Client cannot receive their Wedding Products or Services until they have been paid for in full.


Deliveries

Please order as soon as you know your guest numbers. Well in advance of your wedding date. If your order is urgent then we will try to expedite it within the given timescale although there may be an additional cost.

We undertake to despatch an order for personalised wedding stationery within a fifteen working day period. Personalised confetti takes approximately 8 weeks for delivery.

Where we have to make a special order for a client, in relation to other wedding accessory items on the website such as Cameras, Candles, Confetti and other such items other than wedding stationery, the delivery period of fifteen working days may not apply. However, the client shall be notified of any delays in obtaining such products.

It is important to be aware of the delivery charges that apply which are set out on website. Please be aware that customers should place an order for a complete range of wedding stationery. If they place a second order for another item within the range then a small delivery charge will apply.
We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that Products are delivered within the time limit specified on the site but no liability is accepted for any delay caused for whatever reason. If Products cannot be supplied within the specified delivery time, we will notify you and you will be given the opportunity to cancel the order at that point. Any payment made by you will then be refunded. We will advise you if there is likely to be any material delay in delivery or if the Product in question is no longer available. If the Product in question is no longer available, your order will be automatically be cancelled and any payment received will be refunded to you as soon as possible.

Shipping Costs for Wedding Favours / Stationery

Due to the many combinations available for each wedding favour it is difficult for us to give you a shipping figure until the wedding favours have been made up. Rather than charge you more than the cost of the order, we will add shipping once we receive the order and send a notification email to inform you. We use Royal Mail Parcelforce as standard and Royal Mail Registered postal services for fast safe delivery and charge carriage at cost.
All orders are sent by special delivery or parcel post. "1st Class Wedding Services" accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of goods during transit, although the parcel is covered with insurance through Royal Mail. Each order despatched is carefully packed. In the unfortunate event that any damages occur during transit, please notify us immediately by email, telephone and also in writing within 7 days.
Wedding Stationery will be sent free of charge for the first order, if subsequent orders are made for order of service or thank you cards then a delivery charge will apply.

Overseas Orders

Please contact Ian Gorringe (Sole Proprietor)sales@1stclassweddings.co.uk if you are concerned about the shipping cost. We will email the cost of shipping before we finalise the transaction.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy online. Please read the information in the privacy section at the bottom of the home page to gain a better understanding of how your information will be used.
Wedding Stationery and Banner orders - we will email your details onto our suppliers for them to proceed with you order.

All payment details supplied will be held confidentially and in accordance with our privacy policy [hypertext link to privacy policy] and we will take all reasonable care as far as it is in our power so to do to keep all such details confidential. Unless we are negligent as regards the maintenance of that confidentiality in your personal details, we do not accept liability for any loss suffered as a result of any third party obtaining unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the site.


Printing Errors

Errors completely attributable to 1st Class Wedding Services shall be re-printed within five working days. If errors however, are attributable to the client, a reprint charge will apply. The cost of this will depend on the amount of work involved in the re-print. This cost shall be advised in return.

Colour Variation

As with most coloured products, tonal variations can occur between items from different batches and suppliers; also, the settings on your monitor may reproduce colours differently to the actual product colours. For the foregoing reasons we cannot undertake to supply perfect colour matches to those seen on screen or even sent by sample; although we would wish to assure you that we will do everything in our power to provide as close to perfect goods and colours as we can on the day.
From time to time, due to availability of stock, it may be necessary to alter designs slightly however the quality will remain the same. All our wedding favours and wedding gifts are handcrafted so there may be slight variations amongst the designs, making each one unique.
The same tonal variations may apply to any printed products e.g. wedding stationery, cameras, banners and any other printed items.

Our Liability

The website is accessed and used at your own risk. Although reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that all details on the website are current and contains no inaccuracies or errors, no guarantees are made that the website's content will be error free, accurate and current at all times. If and when a mistake is noticed we will correct it as soon as possible and will ensure that all efforts are made to notify affected users.
When you visit or use the website or any website linked to it, 1st Class Wedding Services / Ian Gorringe (Sole Proprietor) shall not be liable for any:
a) Loss or damage occasioned to you, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive or otherwise howsoever sustained; and/or
b) Failure in performance, viruses, line failure or the like.
No warranties are provided or representations made that your visit to or use of the Site will be uninterrupted or free from defects or viruses.

The cost of items shall be as specified on the site. However, if there has been any inadvertent error in the price quoted in the site, we reserve the right to notify you of such an error when we become aware of this even if this occurs after your offer has been accepted. In such circumstances, you will have the option to proceed with the transaction at the correct price or to withdraw from the transaction. You will be obliged to notify us of the wish to withdraw within 7 days of being notified of such error. You must use the same means of communicating with us as we used to notify you of the error.

Users may not contribute, post or transmit any unlawful, defamatory or threatening material that could constitute a criminal offence. 1stclassweddings.co.uk reserves the right not to publish, or to remove, any content deemed to be in appropriate for any reason whatsoever.

Health & Safety

Risk in Products shall pass to you immediately upon your receipt of them. Warning: 1st Class Wedding Services / Ian Gorringe Sole Proprietor) will not be responsible for products like almonds, latex balloons, confetti or any other small parts that might result in choking or an allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock).Warning: Helium from balloons should not be inhaled this can result in death or injury. Candle Favours are only decorative gift items and should not be lit unless the candle is placed in an appropriate candle holder. Please ensure that children to not drink bubbles and balloons should not be given to children under five – choking hazard.
